The controller responsible for processing your personal data on this website, within the meaning of the GDPR, is:
Katia Miko Ramelow — Opportyounity

You can reach us at the email above for any question about this policy or your personal data. The full legal-notice / imprint details are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Under the GDPR you have the right, at any time, to request: information about the data we hold about you and how it is processed; correction of inaccurate data; deletion of your data; restriction of processing; objection to processing; and data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@opportyounity.life. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority — in Germany, the authority of the federal state in which you live or work.
We only collect what we need for the purposes below, and we never sell your data.
When you access the site, general technical information is collected automatically in server log files — browser type, operating system, the referring domain and similar. This does not allow us to identify you and is used only to deliver the site reliably and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you create an account or enrol in a course such as True to You, we process your name, email, login credentials, your purchases and your course progress so we can give you access and let you continue on any device. Accounts and this data are stored with our database provider Supabase. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you book a call or reading, we collect your name, email, the time you choose and any notes or birth details you share for a Human Design reading. Scheduling is handled through Cal.com (we use its EU-hosted service, cal.eu). Birth details you provide for a reading are used solely to prepare and deliver that reading. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you pay for a reading or course, the transaction is processed by our payment providers, PayPal or Stripe (depending on the product). We receive confirmation of payment and billing details necessary for invoicing, but we never see or store your full card number. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal record-keeping obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the name and email address you provide. Subscriptions and newsletter emails are managed through MailerLite; our longer letters and journal (“Back in Charge”) are additionally published on Substack. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
When you message us through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp, we process your name, email or phone number and the content of your message in order to answer you and handle any follow-up. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).
If you complete the Energy Audit and ask for your results, we process your name, email, your answers and your element scores (via MailerLite) to send you the results and, if you opt in, the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
If you apply to become an expert, apply for a live chart reading, join a waitlist or leave a review, we process the details you submit — such as name, contact details, and for chart readings your birth details — to handle your request. Reviews and chart applications are stored with Supabase; form notifications and applications are managed in ClickUp. Reviews are published with your first name only, after manual approval. Legal basis: steps taken at your request and your consent (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser local-storage entries to make the site work — for example to keep you signed in, remember that you have subscribed to the newsletter, and secure our forms. These are not used to track you across other websites. You can view the site without non-essential cookies and can clear or block cookies through your browser settings, though some features may then stop working. Embedded content (see below) may set its own cookies once you interact with it.
We work with the carefully chosen providers below. Each acts as a processor or independent controller for the purpose described. Some are based outside the EU (see section 6). Please see each provider’s own privacy policy for full detail.

Privacy policy →We also load Google Fonts to display typography consistently; this connects to Google servers, which may receive your IP address. Embedded Spotify and YouTube players load content from those services only when the page with the embed is opened.
Several of the providers above are based in the United States or other countries outside the EU/EEA. Where your data is transferred there, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the provider’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to ensure your data receives a comparable level of protection.
We follow the principles of data minimisation and only keep your personal data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by statutory retention periods (for example, invoices under tax law). After that, data is routinely blocked or deleted. Where data transmission is planned — such as a contact or registration form — we protect it in transit using up-to-date encryption (SSL/TLS over HTTPS).
The content and services on Opportyounity are intended to provide general information and support for the wellbeing of body, mind and soul. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for care from a doctor, alternative practitioner or therapist. Please do not use information from this website as the basis for health-related decisions or self-diagnosis. If you have any health concern, consult a qualified professional.
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our services or the law. The current version always applies to your visit, and we will publish updates here in good time. For any question about your data or this policy, or to make a data-subject request, contact us at info@opportyounity.life.
